How does VIVO® work?
VIVO® stimulates water mobility in the cells, driving fluids inside the cell and improving the critical intracellular/extracellular water ratio. When we are infants, the skin is soft, supple and well-hydrated. However, with age, we lose much of our cell water. As an infant, 60% of the water is inside the cell and 40% is outside the cell. Past the age of 50, that ratio is reversed resulting in water retention and low cell water levels. Additionally, we have tested VIVO® compared to other bottled waters, examining antioxidant activity, and found that all the springs waters that we tested actually promoted oxidation caused by free radicals, while VIVO® was found to have antioxidant activity. Free radicals in the cells are linked with many issues including aging. Controlling these damaging reactions can contribute to long term health and cell maintenance.
